HVAC Upgrade Commissioning, Naval Medical Center San Diego

Davenergy provided commissioning support services on the main hospital’s HVAC system. Upgrades included Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) and related energy-using systems and associated control systems of the five-story hospital. The project includes temporary HVAC systems to maintain general hospital occupancy during the repair and cleaning work and coordinate mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and fire protection system outages and site investigation work. Air handling system references include all air handling equipment and supply, return and exhaust HVAC components as well as related controls, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and utility support systems. Services included development, design, construction, and operation which included project documentation and design reviews, construction inspections, operational/functional testing oversight, technical analysis, and reporting. Davenergy was involved in the project during all phases: Pre-Bid, Design, Construction, Closeout, and Warranty.
